More conversations with a 21 month old…

Middle of the day…

Jace: Night night mommy (gives me a blanket on the couch- not just any blanket… the blanket I use every day).

Me: Night night Jace.

Jace: Night night Elmo (gets “spare” blanket for Elmo and lays him on the floor, covers him, and pats his back).

Me: Jace, is Elmo going to bed?

Jace: Yes (gives him a hug). God… (mumbles)…AMEN! Yessees uvs me… bible… so, yessees uvs me… bible… so (singing “Jesus Loves Me” as we do every night before bed)

Me: That was sweet- Jace, you’re a good boy.

Jace: Yes. Night night (goes and gets his own blanket and lies down on the floor and starts to fake snore).

I love this kid. Never a dull moment.
