Saw this tonight- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition; Boettcher Family.
Biker/pastor Steve, his wife, daughter, and grandson living in a mobile home falling apart… 20 year old daughter has 18 month old handicapped son and sleeps on sofa… clearly no money to spare… yet they have 40-50 teens over to their home weekly and feed them dinner… turned their garage into a youth hangout… the teens consider them family and say they’ve saved their lives…
Kind of puts us in our place.
OH my goodness…I watched this last night and it really made me think. How many times have we said, “We can’t do _____ because our house is too small…or we don’t have enough money, etc…” It really made me think. It was humbling to watch.
