Another fun conversation…

Preface: Dan gave Jace a lanyard from his football coaching supply and Jace treats it like his most prized possession. We call him coach while he wears it and tell him he is just like daddy which makes him sooooo happy.

Me: Hey there little coach!

Jace: Baby turn.

Me: Baby’s turn? That would be nice.

(Jace pulls up my shirt, takes off the lanyard, lays it on my belly, and gives it a good pat)

Jace: Here go baby. (pulls my shirt back over my belly with the lanyard still in there)

Me: Jace, you’re such a nice brother!

Jace: Baby coach.

Me and Dan: (exchange the “how is our kid so stinkin’ smart?” look)
