Elle Capri is here!

Elle Capri was born May 3rd at 1:20 in the afternoon. She weighs 7 pounds and 8 ounces and is 19.5 inches.

We went into the hospital at about 6:30 am after I began feeling some consistent contractions about 3-7 minutes apart. We had the BEST staff of nurses, doctor (actually the DAUGHTER of the Dr who delivered Jace) , everyone! Got my epidural around 9:45, they broke my water, and by noon we were told we’d have a baby within the hour. But due to an emergency in the department, we had to wait a little longer. The Dr came in about 1:00, I pushed through 4 contractions and Elle was HERE! The labor and delivery went PERFECTLY! Even better than with her big brother!

Jace got to come to the hospital to meet his sister once we moved to our new room. He immediately leaned over her bassinet and began whispering to her how much he loved her… SO sweet!

We’re so blessed to now be parents to TWO little miracles and are so excited to get to know Elle more every day. We thank all of you for your love and prayers!
