Awesomeness…
Is that a word? Don’t know but don’t care. It describes today.
An idea of our friend/Ministry leader, Rick Rodak, who passed away suddenly on Memorial Day came to be today. It was a spa day for the woman who live at the local YWCA. About 17 women came and enjoyed hours of massages, hair cuts, styles, manicures, pedicures, lunch, etc.- pretty much just got doted on by an amazing team of volunteers who donated their time and services for these woman who deserve it so much. They looked so happy and relaxed when they were finished and it was an honor to be a part of it. 3 women brought their children whom I got to watch for them- one of them 2 weeks old. That mom definitely deserved some time to herself to be pampered! It was such a great day and the Spirit was at work! Thank you Jesus! And thanks to everyone who was there lending a hand! And thanks to Rick for the wonderful idea you had. We miss you!
If you think of it, be in prayer for these women, their children, and their situations.

That was a great day!!!! we will always remember Rick for this day and for all his willingness to serve. He was a great guy. Those ladies who came will never forget this. That is an awesome song that you heard when you got in the car…it just finishes the mood for everything. Thanks for all the help and serving you do for everything…you are awesome. Praying for your hard times as well…everything will get better. love you!!!
