(what I’m referring to)

Dear Tyler Frost,

I’m sorry.  On behalf of Christians everywhere, I’m sorry that your school chose to care more about it’s image than loving you. I’m sorry that they spent more time considering possibly how their school would “look” than they did how a teenager would feel. I’m sorry that they have portrayed an image to you and to the world that to be a Christian you must be boring, stuck up, and strict. I’m sorry if they have caused you to doubt your faith.

I pray that those people who felt the need to suspend you from your school would be humbled by Christ and made to realize the spirit of a young man may have been/could have been crushed. I pray that you would use this experience to grow in your faith and not run from it. That you can help others learn that being a Christian is not about “rules”. That it is about FREEdom in Christ.

I wish you the best of blessings in your future endeavors- be a light to a dark world (even the Christian world!)

Much love- your sister in Christ,

Amber

I agree – this hurts me to know that people who are christians are showing this kind of ‘love’ to people, kids @ that! I don’t even like to call myself a christian b/c of things like this – this isn’t what I stand for, this isn’t what I think, or believe! Being a christian is about what we CAN do, not what we CAN’T!

This is happening really close to us and he’s everywhere around here. I completely agree with you, too.
Hope you’re doing well! Tell Dan I said Hi!
