about me
Right now I’m living in Florida with my amazing little family- big brother Jace is THREE already and keeping me busy as ever! And baby sister, Elle is ONE! (When did these babes grow up???) I’m married to a wonderful man and crazy High School Pastor/Football Coach and we are loving life together! Certainly never saw myself as a Pastor’s Wife and don’t know if I fit the mold quite right, but all I can be is me! God has been so good in our lives and we continue to trust Him with our futures.
A little more about me: I love… Jesus, my husband, my son, my daughter, my friends, the smell of the ocean, CHIPOTLE restaurant, Chai tea, journaling, the Cleveland Indians, Good & Plenty candy, how I smell like my husband after we hug, the South, KEY LIME PIE, being pregnant and being a mom, rain, bubble baths, getting (real) mail, going for drives, good music, 91 Restaurant, black and white photography, yellow lab puppies, bargain shopping, the Maitland Art Center, homemade guacamole, hot pink peonies, Spanish moss, beautiful sunsets, peppermint milkshakes, candlelight, scrapbooking, traveling, helping people, the 1st snowfall of the year, seeing elderly couples holding hands, singing, children’s prayers, making things pretty (ie: interior/wedding/party design), the full moon, looking at old pictures, and on and on and on!

I stumbled across your blog a few days ago, I’m so glad I did! my hubby is also a youth pastor, we plan on planting someday in the near future. I was glad to know that I’m not the only one who doesn’t feel like a ‘normal’ pastors wife! It sounds like ya’ll are doing some great things for your community, thats great to see and hear! keep up the good work, and you’ll be in my prayers – you can never have too much support right?!
Hi there!
I was looking for an e-mail address to reach you, but I can not find one. I will leave this info here, and you can delete it once you have the info (if you need to).
I’ve been working on getting the League of Pastor’s Wives blog and blogroll updated. Yesterday I spent some time getting things in order and I think I can actually say that League of Pastor’s Wives is officially RELAUNCHED!
Check it out over at:
League of Pastor’s Wives – http://league-of-pastors-wives.blogspot.com/
I do have you on the new blogroll because you were listed in the last one. If you have any preference about being included please let me know.
If you have a link to League of Pastor’s Wives in your sidebar, I wanted to let you know about the NEW address for the blog. We don’t know what’s happened to the original one (that most ladies currently have listed) but we are no longer able to access it or use the address. (You can read a bit about it on the blog.) Please update the link in your sidebar if necessary.
We’re excited to get these things updated, and look forward to connecting with you and other ministry wives to be of support and blessing to one another.
Blessings,
Sweet Mummy
I ran onto your blog from Mary Y. My name is Vanessa. I have been reading your blog for awhile now. I wanted to introduce myself and tell you that you are such a good writer. I have a blog for my family
Hi! I stumbled on your Blogspot blog when I was searching for “katie luther beer recipe” and your quote on the old blog. I’m still trying to figure out what is “expected” of me as a pastor’s wife at our church, and what I want to do. I was even more intrigued when I saw that you live in NE Ohio. We live just outside of Bowling Green and my husband grew up in Bucyrus. He’s a pastor in the Lutheran church ELCA. Anyway, your blog looks cool and I don’t really have one yet. I started one on Beliefnet, but haven’t really done anything with it. This was just a nice “stumble upon” and I will be back.
Hi there! My name is Rachel. I was looking at the Minister’s Wives blog roll and saw that you were a youth pastor’s wife, so I decided to drop by. Imagine my surprise to see that not only are we both youth pastor’s wives but also in the Central Florida area. We are in Winter Haven. I enjoyed reading your blog!
